Description: Step up to the challenge of carrier based flight. The USS George Washington is your new base.

The flight deck is equipped with a powerful catapult to get your Mach 2 aircraft airborne in only a few hundred feet. And the steel cables strung across its stern are strengthened to bring your muscular jet to a screeching halt on a dime.

The working steam catapult and arrestor cables are from Richard Hogen exclusively for Flight Deck 3!

The brand new Fresnel Lens Landing system is from Graham Oxtoby.

On assignment you'll have this equipment at your disposal:

* F-14 Tomcat
* F-18 Hornet
* E-2C Hawkeye
* CH-46 Sea Knight
* AV-8B II Harrier
* S-3A Viking
* USS George Washington

Pros: Works very well, Works with any plane,Can add catapults anywere
Cons: Bad Planes, Hard to learn

This is a nice overall product, it does have a few flaws however.The major flaw is the poor quality off all the planes included in the download.Another bad aspect is the fact that there is only one included, though you can download 14 freeware carriers that work instantly with the aresstor cables program.There are many more comments on the positive side however.The arrester cables program works very well andy ou can use it to simulate 3 levels of battle damage.It can also be used to onload fuel at to different rates to Simulate arial refueling and to offload fuel to simulat an emergency fuel dump or a fuel leak.Another nice feature I discovered was the ability to creat arrestor cables anywhere in the world.A final con that just came to me is that the new fresnal lens system cant be seen till it is to late to make too much difference.I would suggest this product to anyone who thinks they have the time to learn to land on an aircraft carrier

Pros: Great models! the USS George Wasington is supurb! All Aircraft are supurb!
Cons: Arrestor Cables are hard to catch, the F-14 and F-15 and the Sea Knight(heli) i find hard to control at slow speed, I've also seen better aircraft carriers.

Get it if you have the time to learn, or if you want a new challenge in FS9

Pros: A great challenge, and plain out fun!
Cons: The aircraft models/textures are not good.

I would recommend this in a heart beat. Its a blast to try to land on a carrier! But, quite challenging.

Pros: Excellent aircraft carrier, visuals and realism
Cons: Horrible aircrafts, no LSO, carrier can only be selected from pre made flights

Over all, the package is excellent! But all the aircrafts can use alittle work. Wish they could've added some AI, someone to tell you your approach and corrections, and working elevator to the hangar deck...but no biggie.

Pros: VERY TECHNICAL, TRYING TO LAND ON CARRIER
Cons: QUALITY OF AIRCRAFT COULD BE A LITTLE BETTER

MUCH BETTER THAN MOST FREEWARE. TRYING TO LAND ON THE CARRIER TAKES A LOT OF PRACTICE BUT IT IS WORTH THE EFFORT. TREMENDOUS FUN ONCE YOU GET THE HANG OF IT.

Pros: Gives you somthin new to do in fs
Cons: the aircraft, thats no problem though, i dont use them anywayz

If you want a new challange in fs get this product, its excellent fun especially in multiplayer. as far as the aircraft go, they suck, but u can tell they werent making this product for the aircraft, its for the carriers and its well worth it.
