Add GPS to Any Panel

To add the Panel style GPS to your panel:

do the following:

1. Open the folder for the aircraft that you want to add the panel to.

2. Open a folder called Panel

3. Open Panel.cgf in notepad

4. In a section that looks like this:

[Window Titles]
Window00=Main Panel
Window01=Radio Stack
Window02=Annunciator
Window03=Compass
Window04=Mini Panel
Window05=GPS

Type in the red text following the numbering (Note: the number given here will be the Shift+? number to call up the GPS)

5.Further down the file you will see a pattern like this:

Window03=Annunciator
Window04=Compass
Window05=Mini Panel

Once again you add the red bit, remember to use the same number where I used 05 that you used in step 4.

Now when you press Shift+5 (or whatever number you used) or you click Views > Instrument Panel > GPS; you will see the GPS appear



To use the hand-held GPS:

simply replace
gauge00=fs9gps!gps_500, 0,0

in red in step 4, with
gauge00=fs9gps!gps_295, 0,0
