I was just wondering what kind of things you would like to see or expect to see in future versions of FS (starting with Microsoft Flight Sim 2006). Aircraft, scenery, realisms, etc. Don't get me wrong despite the few nay sayers out there I think that MS did an awesome job, especially since they are limited not neccesarily by what they can do, but what their consumer's PC's can handle. I just thinks it's fun to consider what they might do in the future to really make it "As real as it gets"
A few things I can think of are: 1) more interactions with ATC (for example being able to declare an emergency) 2) AI choppers 3) Landing pads on buildings (If I am not mistaken previous versions actually had these) 4)More A/C carriers (again I think previous versions had these) 5)Airport ground crew activity. 6) Street traffic That should get you started. |

The AI needs sounds. The airport is way to quiet without it.

Scrap the ficticional airlines like Soar, Airwave etc. and just use real airlines, with real routes and timetables.
Add the Concorde. Instruct IFR pilots to avoid restricted airspace areas like Washington DC, north of KDCA. Jetways at the gates. Maybe some more voices, both male and female, to reduce the likelihood of hearing the same voice talking to itself. Perhaps even voices with accents for certain parts of the world (Europe, Asia, South America etc). Refueling amount option. Instead of pulling up to the pump and getting a full tank, specify the amount you want. Works better at higher elevations like Aspen (KASE). This may be a little extreme, but throw in a radio that you can tune to real local radio stations as you fly. |

I think you're dead right. They've done a great job ith this version of FS.
If you were to ask what they could do for future players then I suggest that a really decent and simple to use editor would be a good addition. Especially if it allowed you to download it as a replceable file and allowed better files to override the one the game gave. It'd also be good if it could be replaced by furure files |

Fires, tornadoes, hurricanes, satellites, real trees blowing in the wind, dust blowing across the rwy, moving jetways, moving people, photoreal looking add-on planes, bumps, hills, and slopes in taxiways and runways, real cars, real snow, better looking seasons, better looking cities, swells in the ocean that can reach 30ft with bad weather, moving boats, eclipses, comets, photoreal scenery!!!, all airports like simflyers!!! and last if youre doing stupid ###### the airforce comes to your plane to investigate.

Microsoft would do that if there weren't any copyright laws, they can only use what they get permission to use that's why you don't see any default airbuses and more boeing planes because they only get permission to use certain planes and if the majors would let them use their liveries for default aircraft they would, but since they didn't they can't so before you bash them on not using real liveries learn the facts |

I was suggesting what I would like to see in future releases. Why the majors don't let MS use their liveries is a mystery. Especially now with airlines hurting, they need all the promotion and advertisement they can get. Maybe in a few years.... |

I would like to see more detail at airports in Britain. The only airport which looks decent in England IMO is Heathrow. Microsoft seem to concentrate more on American airfields, which I can understand as they are an American-based company, but if they paid more attention to British airports, us Brits would be a lot happier and not have to keep looking for payware add-ons.

This post is pointless. The list of things could go on allmost forever. Why don't you just fly real planes and then you can have all of this?
