![]() On May 2nd, we will be doing short hops in the Caribbean, from St. Maarten (TNCM) to Piarco (TTPP). After a great turnout from our last GA event, we decided to do another. Route The route will be provided, leg by leg, during the flight, but I am also posting it here. The route we will fly is as follows... St Maarten (TNCM) St Barts (TFFJ) F.D. Roosevelt (TNCE) Newcastle (TKPN) Baillif (TFFB) Melville Hall (TDPD) Le Lamentin (TFFF) George F.L. Charles (TLPC) ET Joshua (TVSV) Union I. Intl (TVSU) Point Salines Intl (TGPY) Piarco Intl (TTPP) Available for download here: http://rapidshare.com/files/225033338/VFR_...o_Intl.PLN.html Scenery We have two sceneries, one is mandatory, the other isn't Mandatory scenery: This one is required for the flight! The airports will still appear in FS without this, but the airports are repositioned in this scenery, and it enhances the mesh, airports, landclass, and autogen for the islands we will fly to. It is the Antilles Adventure Pack, available as freeware here: http://www.jg-laurent.com/en/ The installer is not in English, although that isn't a problem for me, just hit the button on the bottom right corner like any other installer. Non-mandatory scenery: This scenery is not required, although will greatly enhance two airports. The scenery is Flytampa's well known TNCM scenery (payware), and covers TNCM, TFFJ, and SABA. You can buy it here: http://www.flytampa.org/ I highly recommend it. Connecting For help connecting to the Flightsimworld Multiplayer Server, IP address 64.85.160.87, check out these two topics. Configuring Ports for FSHOST servers Connecting FSX to an FSHOST game Aircraft I would recommend any single engine or small twin engine prop aircraft (Carenado M20J, C182, Piper Seneca, Beech Baron 58, ect), and I request we cruise around 110 knots to 150 knots. Some suggestions would be many of Carenado's payware aircraft, PAD's DH-2 Turbo Beaver, aircraft from Justflight's Flying Club, and PAD's freeware Socata Tobago & Trinidad for FSX. We hope to have a good turnout! See you guys in the Caribbean. This post has been edited by Buziel-411 (RED): Apr 23 2009, 09:18 PM |

Sweet I'm already hyped up!
I uninstalled the Antilles Adventure Pack from the last flight because it messed up my TBPB scenery, but I can always install and uninstall once more. Come on and join, it will be great fun |

Hope to see all of you guys there!
Awesome! But what abut SABA?!?! I decided to leave SABA off for several reasons. One, some people will be using Flytampa's SABA, others might use freeware versions of the airport, and others use default. This means we will see each other in the mountain side, floating in the air, or on the water. Two, some of us might crash and it would add complications to the flight (remember my approach the other day? |

Two days guys, hope to see a good turnout.
Build a machine! Instead of that MacBook. Macbook FTW! I won't consider FSX for months, after the Macbook and when the time comes to save for a new CPU to replace my horrible 2.20GHz Dual Core AMD processor, that came stock on my computer. Although I'll probably just keep enhancing Fs9: look at you, you can't even participate in our events due to FSX. |
