Cloud9 hands product support to FSDreamTeam

Virtuali s.a.s. is pleased to announce to have reached an agreement with Cloud9 s.a.s. to handle customer and product support for all their existing products to FSDreamTeam support. This will allow an easier user experience because FSDreamTeam support will now handle reactivation and support for Cloud9 products as well.

Starting from November 6th 2009, users will be able to download all the latest versions and patches from FSDreamTeam web site, at this address:

http://www.fsdreamteam.com/products_cloud9.html

The FSDreamTeam forum will have a section dedicated to support Cloud9 products, and users in need to email support for reactivation or reinstallation question, will be able to email FSDreamTeam for any questions related to Cloud9 products and orders.

The previous Cloud9 support email address will still be usable, and questions sent to this email will be answered by FSDreamTeam support. However, we suggest start using the FSDreamTeam support address for Cloud9 questions right now, because it might result in faster reply times.

The Cloud9 web site and forum will be active until January 31th, 2010. However, starting from today, the Cloud9 forum will not accept new registrations and new posts: if you don't have an account on the FSDreamTeam forum already, you are welcome to register and post your questions there

This agreement will also have the following effect on product released by Cloud9:

- Over the next weeks, all Cloud9 installers will be updated to use the same installation routine as FSDreamTeam. This will fix any possible compatibility issues and remove any requirement on the order of installation for products released by the two companies which might have existed in the past.

- FSDreamTeam will be able to publish fixes for any issues that might be found in Cloud9 products, or to improve compatibility with newer Operating Systems.

- Cloud9 has agreed to give FSDreamTeam the rights to use part of the previously released Cloud9 products, to create entirely new versions, to be sold by FSDreamTeam

with kindest regards,

Cloud9
FSDreamTeam

Iris Simulations - Pro Series Christen Eagle Released

August 2005 saw the release of what is now widely regarded as one of the benchmarks for Flight Simulator Aerobatic aircraft in the form of the Long Island Classics Christen Eagle for FS2004. Now, four years later, and with a gracious nod to both Kevin Lechmanski and Dan Hufford of Long Island Classics, the generous support of aircraft designer Frank Christensen, the Blue Eagles Virtual Aerobatic Team and the development team at IRIS, we have the greatest pleasure in launching the IRIS Pro Series Christen Eagle for FSX.

Xtreme Prototypes - 20 Series Business Jets Released

The Xtreme Prototypes 20 Series add-on business jet package for Microsoft® Flight Simulator X contains six variations of the legendary Models 24, 25 and 28. The classic 20 Series aircraft, nicknamed "fighters in civilian clothing" because of their sleek design and amazing performance, were the first true executive jets and would forever redefine the way corporate America and the rest of the world did business. Their timeless design and capabilities earn them a place among the "extreme aircraft", setting record after record while allowing shirt-sleeve comfort in their plush cabins.

Each highly-detailed 3D model is inspired from the real world aircraft and features many movable parts and high resolution textures. The fully functional 3D virtual cockpit contains over 800 parts and more than 200 back and front-lit 3D gauges, lights, switches and flight instruments.

While this add-on package allows comprehensive procedural IFR flight, we at Xtreme Prototypes recognize that not everyone has the time, patience or inclination to read, understand and learn a complete manual, which is why the Xtreme Prototypes 20 Series remains simple to operate. Anyone who masters Flight Simulator's default jets can fly the 20 Series aircraft for FSX. It's up to the user to decide which level of complexity he/she wants to achieve.

The custom flight model has been designed to simulate the performance of a high-powered civilian jet aircraft. The package includes custom visual effects and sounds, multiple camera views and a detailed flight manual (PDF format, in English and French).

The Xtreme Prototypes 20 Series for Flight Simulator X is compatible with FSX SP2, FSX Acceleration Expansion Pack and FSX Gold. The complete package is available on CD-ROM or download.

PMDG J41 Released

The Jetstream 41 turboprop regional airliner, manufactured by BAE Systems, is a major development of the Jetstream 31/32 regional airliner family which entered service in 1982. The Jetstream 31 and the Jetstream 32EP (enhanced
performance) are 19-seat turboprop airliners. The stretched Jetstream 41 development was announced in 1989, the first flight took place in 1991 and the aircraft entered service in 1992. The goal was to compete directly with 30-seat aircraft like the Embraer Brasilia, Dornier 328 and Saab 340.

The Jetstream 41's stretched fuselage is 16 ft (4.88 m) longer, consisting of an 8 foot (2.5 m) plug forward of the wing and a 7 ft 9 in (2.36 m) plug to the rear; the fuselage design was completely new and did not contain any parts of the old fuselage. The new design required an increased wing span, which also included reworked ailerons and flaps. The wing was mounted below the fuselage in order for it not to carry through the cabin aisle, which also led to larger wing root fairings which increased baggage capacity.

An accurate, detailed simulation of the Jetstream 41 has been sorely missing from desktop flight simulation... Until Now!

http://www.precisionmanuals.com/priv/pages...fsx/js4100.html

FSX only.
