I seen video about it...
I saw on "America's Funniest Video" of the beach next to the take off point of the runway in some countries where the jet blast messes up the beach settings and people running to get their stuff... it's soo funny especially a 747-200 on the runway but nothing blocking the jet blast from blasting at the beach... |

I have seen those pictures before. Just go to Jet Photos and search for Maho Beach. I hope I can go there some day...

St.Maarten, other than the planes, I hate that island probably one of my least favorite carribean islands. I don't like the French side it's dirty and just not a nice place to be, unfortunately Juliana is on the French side, what you people don't see in some pictures are the (shuddering) 70 year old topless ladies on the beach, don't know how many of you know this, but it is a "clothing optional" beach. I wish the airport was on the dutch side it's alot nicer there, but to be 100% honest with you, other than the airplanes I don't like the island that's why we tend to go to one of the other BETTER carribean islands, but nothing beats the approach at SXM that's the only thing it has over the other islands.
