One of the most beautiful set runways… what a view for the sun bathers. I must say this is the

I must say this is one of the coolest airports. Can you just imagine the feeling of sitting in the sun and having a 747 buzz right over you.

I think I want to take my wife there on vacation and watch the sunset and enjoy the beach with 747 flying right over me… tongue.gif That may sound strange, but ###### I can’t ask for more

So I decided to take one of the best looking 747’s and try my self after seeing some of the pictures. Here is what I came up with.

British Airways 747
Philipsburg / St. Maarten - Princess Juliana (SXM / TNCM)

Oh man! Definitely sounds great! I wouldn't mind doing that myself! Although I think I might want to go alone, because the wife (if I had one) would definitely have to take a back seat to the landing approach and all the beautiful aircraft! tongue.gif

I've stood on that beach and watched a few planes come and go (the going ones really blow stuff around) It is definately a destination while you are in St. Maarten.

VERY NICE!!!

Suggestions:don't deploy spoilers before touch down

Questions: Does Ba actually go to TNCM I thought I was only Corsair,KLm and Air France that operate the 747 in there?

Nice pictures but he's right. Plse no spoilers before touchdown, that would be your last landing with that plane. Speedbrakes at 50 ft, very bad idea!!! ohmy.gif
